BLACKWATTLE BAY

KANNFINCH designed the winning scheme for the Blackwattle Bay waterfront, a high profile site adjacent to the Sydney Fish Markets in Pyrmont.
Our design incorporates a 3 storey commercial office building, a 2 storey function centre, and a 2 storey commercial office & warehouse building on the 8600m2 site. Some key features of our design include integrating the heritage coal loader structure into the design, and maintaining the view corridor from Wentworth Park to Blackwattle Bay.
Sustainability initiatives incorporated into the scheme include solar hot water, photo voltaic panels, rain water harvesting and re-use, heat rejection HVAC system, the promotion of public transport by reduced car parking, and energy efficient fixtures and fittings.
